When Two Roads Brewing Co. came up from Connecticut this week for our ongoing Thursday night beer series, they brought us a pretty sweet gift: the chance to pour their phenomenal doppelbock, Barrel-Aged Henry’s Farm. This lager is aged in rye whiskey barrels which lends a warm, rich flavor to the already present notes of caramel, pumpernickel & toffee. Typically a brewery only release, this won’t last long.
